Round 1 - Brands Hatch

We spent a lot of time setting the bike up, including adjusting the suspension. The bike looks awesome and has lots of power, however I need to change my riding style to the new Italian 2007 MV Agusta.

The qualifier did not go too well. I had to start from 37th on the grid but with a really good start found myself quickly picking up places. I had moved up about 12 places when I tipped into the second to last corner. The rear wheel was chattering and as I turned in, the back of the bike came round on me and luckily I managed to save it! This meant picking it up and running through the gravel.

I managed to get back on the track but I lost all the advantage I had previously achieved and finished the race in 28th Place overall. Obviously not the result I was expecting but can only improve for Thruxton next weekend.

I am sorry that the start of the season was not what we all had planned but would like to thank all the team for their help and support.
