Round 3 - Silverstone
First of all I just want to thank all the team for the weekend.
Over the weekend we didn't need to make any drastic changes to the bike and with a few tweaks here and there the bike was feeling good.
After our practice session on the Friday we had a nice visit from Warwick Noland and his girlfriend who then analysed my sectors to see where I was loosing time and how I could improve in my bad sectors. With that I took a second off my time in the first qualifier, ending up 15th on the grid on the 4th row, which was a big improvement from Brands and Thruxton.
I put it down to Stewy polishing the fairings for extra aerodynamics! ha-ha.
Then with a good start I managed to make a few places up, on the 3rd lap in James Rose got taken out in the chicane and I was just behind and had no where to go and as I could see his bike getting closer I crashed into the side of him, I thought I was off... but some how I luckily managed to stay up right.
I managed to finish the race in 14th after few interruptions, the safety car and the race being red flagged and cut short.
I felt that if the race was not red flagged I would of improved on my position. I will be looking to improve on that result this weekend at Oulton Park.
Thanks for everyone's support
